Do it: Going Freelance
I’m going to be leading an open discussion on freelancing this Saturday (September 29, 2007). The format is new to me and the group, but I’m confidant things will go well. I’ve been a part-time freelancer ever since I’ve been into the web. I’ve experienced some amazing clients who really make freelancing worth it. I’ve also experienced some of the worst clients that have made me question why I even bother. Still, I’ve fallen in love with the concept of doing what I love, getting paid for it, and doing it on my time.
If you’re in the Central Florida area, be sure to stop by. It’s at DeVry University near the Millinia Mall in Orlando. We will be in Room 108 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Let me know you’re coming so I can greet you at the door. I have events set on Upcoming, Facebook, and on the Central Florida PHP site. I hope to see you there!
