  1. Most famous for his PBS tv show, The Joy of Painting, which aired for 11 years.
  2. Bob was a big animal lover his entire life. As a child, he had a pet alligator. During his show, his pet squirrel, Peapod, would make guest appearances from time-to-time
  3. Retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
  4. A beach loving, Florida native, Bob was born in Daytona Beach and Died in New Symyrna Beach. He passed away at 52 years old.
