The Quick and Dirty
- He was a student of Aristotle where his knowledge and interests grew in science, philosophy, and the arts.
- Alexander’s father, Philip II, King of Macedonia was assassinated in 336 BC. At this point Alexander inherited the thrown making the king ruler of the [known] world.
- Later in his life, he began to believe he was a god. He would command his cities to worship him as such.
- His rule came to a close at his death in 323 BC. He was 33 years old.
