The Quick and Dirty
- Rob Roy Macgregor was a Scottish cattleman turned outlaw who lived from 1671 to 1734.
- His career as an outlaw began after an assistant ran off with money paid to him from the Duke of Montrose, causing the deal to go sour.
- He is oftentimes referred to as the “Scottish Robin Hood” for his participation in raids against his former creditor and in several Jacobite battles of the era.
- In recent times, a tasty drink made with Scotch Whisky, Sweet Vermouth, and optionally (but suggested) a splash of Bitters.
